Honored for pioneering wearable-integrated performance and longevity coaching programs for employee health.
Albany, Texas./June 17, 2025 – Coya, a U.S.-based performance and longevity coaching company, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2025 Garmin Health Awards. Hosted annually at the Garmin Health Summit, the awards celebrate groundbreaking digital health solutions from around the world that integrate Garmin wearable technology. Coya was recognized for its innovative approach to combining biometric data from Garmin smartwatches with behavioral science-based coaching to help individuals make sustainable, high-impact lifestyle changes.
Coya is one of only six international organizations selected for the honor, and the only U.S.-based finalist in the Employee Health Benefits category. The company’s proprietary coaching methodology supports users in achieving both peak performance and long-term health through a personalized approach that blends science-backed training, nutrition, and recovery strategies.
“We’re incredibly honored to be named a finalist for the 2025 Garmin Health Awards,” said Jason Mejeur, Founder and CEO of Coya. “This recognition from Garmin, a global leader in wearable technology, validates the power of our mission—to help people live stronger, longer lives. We’re especially excited about working more closely with Garmin to support performance and longevity gains at scale, and to continue innovating at the intersection of data, health, and human potential.”
As part of the Garmin Health Summit—held this year at the iconic New York Stock Exchange—Coya will present its solution to panels of health industry experts and event attendees. Winners of both the Expert’s Choice and People’s Choice Garmin Health Awards will be announced at the conclusion of the event, receiving Garmin smartwatches and fitness trackers valued at $10,000.
Andy Beckman, Garmin’s Global Head of Marketing and a participant in the Coya program, shared his personal experience:
“As someone who’s gone through the Coya program myself, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful their approach is. It’s not just about performance or longevity—it’s about both. The way Coya integrates our wearable data into a completely personalized coaching experience is unlike anything else out there, and it’s making a real difference in people’s lives.”
The 2025 Garmin Health Summit will be held in New York City from September 17–18. The invite-only event features keynote speeches from health innovators, networking opportunities, product presentations, and the highly anticipated awards ceremony.
